Converting a photo or merging two PDFs shouldn’t cost an email address, a subscription or a countdown timer. Most sites that do these jobs charge you in one of those ways. Byhand doesn’t: every file tool is free, with no sign-up and no limits.
Who makes it
Byhand is built and run by an independent developer. There are no investors and no ads, and every email sent to hello@byhand.tools is read by the person who builds the tools.
Pro pays for the free tools
The AI writing tools (rewriting, summarising, translating and more) run on paid models, so they are part of Pro, from $9/month. That subscription keeps everything else free.
