Frequently asked questions
Is my photo uploaded?
No. The model runs as WebAssembly in your browser. The only download is the model itself, which is a static file cached after the first use.
How accurate is it?
Good on people against reasonably distinct backgrounds; fine hair, glass and busy backgrounds can need touch-ups. It is not a general object cutter.
Which model is this?
MODNet photographic portrait matting (Apache-2.0), running single-threaded on ONNX Runtime Web. Expect a few seconds per photo on a laptop, longer on phones.
