Frequently asked questions
Does it find every face?
It finds most front-facing and angled faces, including small ones in group photos. Faces in profile, covered or very blurry can be missed, so check the photo and draw a box over anything it skipped.
Can the blur be undone?
No. Blur and Pixelate first reduce each face to a handful of colour blocks, so the detail is gone from the saved file, not just softened. Solid covers it completely.
What happens to the photo metadata?
The download is a freshly encoded image: EXIF data such as GPS position, camera model and capture date is not copied over.
