Frequently asked questions
Does it work with DRM-protected books?
No. Books locked with DRM, such as purchases from the Kindle or Adobe Digital Editions stores, cannot be converted. DRM-free EPUBs, including Project Gutenberg books and most independent publishers, work.
Are the book's fonts and styles kept?
Headings, bold, italic, alignment, lists, tables and images follow the book's stylesheet. Fonts bundled in the EPUB are used when their licence allows embedding; otherwise a matching serif, sans or monospaced font is used.
Which languages are supported?
Latin, Greek and Cyrillic text is set in real, searchable fonts. Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, Hebrew and other scripts are drawn as images, so they still appear but cannot be searched.
