Which PDF/A version does it create?
PDF/A-2b, the level most archives, courts and agencies accept. Choose PDF/A-3b instead when you need to keep file attachments.
What does it change?
Missing standard fonts such as Helvetica, Arial, Times, Courier and Calibri are embedded with metric-compatible equivalents, so line breaks stay put. JavaScript, launch actions, encryption and non-printing comments are removed. Every change is listed in the report.
What if a font cannot be embedded?
A page that uses a missing font with no compatible replacement is rebuilt as a high-resolution image with invisible, searchable text, and the report names that page.
